Wallsend Touch Association offer a well run competitions during the warmer and cooler months.
Our committee are committed to excellent communication between teams and players, and we offer prime facilities for all of our competitions. Our playing fields are also of great quality being full sized touch fields, with adequate safety precautions in place to look out for all of our members.
Our touch footy comps are not just here for the Wallsend residents, but in fact we have members that come from as far as Sydney, Central Coast, Nelson Bay, Singleton and more. The Wallsend Touch competition is open for every person, everywhere, exactly as you are.
Our competition nights are run to schedule, and all logistics managed by our committee and volunteers.
No matter what your playing capability, Wallsend Touch has the grade for you.
What competitions are on offer?
Wallsend Touch offers a wide range of social and competitive competitions on multiple nights of the week. There are competitions for people of all ages and levels of experience, offering exercise, socialising, and enjoyment for all.
Mens Competitions
We run two men’s competitions each season, offering a unique experience for newbies through to the more seasoned players. Mens competitions also offer an opportunity for Dads to play with their sons, brothers and workmates. Catering for Masters all the way to the younger generations, our men’s competitions are hard to beat.

GRADES AVAILABLE:
Mens competitions offer grades that cater for every level of experience; from the more competitive A & B Grades, to more casual and social oriented C & D Grades.

Womens Competitions
Our Wednesday night Women’s competition currently caters for players of all levels of experience and skill.

Mixed Competitions
Our Monday night Mixed competition is our most popular competition, once again catering for all levels of experience, we offer grades from the more competitive A and B, all the way down to the far more casual and social F grade.

Family Competitions
Mums, Dads, grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins, birth families, forever families, rainbow families, and friends. Our Family Competition is a unique opportunity for whole families to play touch footy together in a fun, inclusive and social setting. This comp is for all ages and all abilities.

Grades Available:
Family Grade.

Junior Competitions
Our junior competition is, by far and away, our biggest competition, with close to 100 teams. Catering from 7 & Under, all the way up to our 15 & Under age division, with boys, girls, and mixed competitions being run in all age divisions.
Our junior competition is run on a Tuesday night.
The age divisions offered in our junior competition are:
7 & Under (Min 8 players per team)
9 & Under (Min 8 players per team)
11 & Under (Min 9 players per team)
13 & Under (Min 9 players per team)
15 & Under (Min 8 players per team)
Boys, girls, and mixed [all gender] (played within the boys competition) competitions are run in all of the above age divisions.

Summer (Usually begins in 3rd Quarter of the year onward)
NIGHTS OF COMPETITION:
Tuesdays
DIVISIONS AVAILABLE:
Boys, Girls and Mixed Divisions (larger divisions may have additional Pools).

CUBS Program
The Wallsend Touch CUBS Program is for children aged 4/5/6 years of age, and is run on a Tuesday night, along side our junior competition, over an 8 week period. The sessions run for 30 minutes and consist of basic skill development. It is a fun and safe program aimed at increasing the knowledge of the game so the children can transition into our junior competition the following year.

How to register?
STEP 1: TEAM REGISTRATION
First, your Team Manager needs to register a team with the club so that players can register into the team.
No payment is required to register a team, you just choose your team name, your desired night and division, and have the minimum number of required players (9). A unique team code is then generated, which you give to your players who then register and pay online individually.
STEP 2: PLAYER REGISTRATION
Once a team has been registered, your Team Manager can send you the team link so that you can complete your individual registration.
