PLEASE NOTE: The requirement to have a second trial will be determined at the first trial and all the players will be advised at the conclusion of the first trial.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the trial commencement time and follow all COVID Safe rules that will be posted on our Facebook page and website.

Under 8 – Born 2013
Under 10 – Born 2011-12
Under 12 – Born 2009-10
Under 14 – Born 2007-08
Under 16 – Born 2005-06
Under 18 Born 2003-04
Compulsory Dates
The following dates are compulsory for players who are selected into Wallsend Touch junior representative teams. By trialling and accepting your position in the team you are agreeing to the following compulsory commitments
- Compulsory Training Days and all training session set by your coach
- Wallsend Touch Gala Day – Sunday January 17 2021, Wallsend Touch Fields
- Peter Wilson Memorial Championships – Saturday Feburary 6 & Sunday Feburary 7 2021, Nelson Bay
- Junior State Cup – Friday Feburary 19 – Sunday Feburary 21 2021, Port Macquarie
- Junior State Cup Finals – TBA (further information will be made available when NSW Touch makes a final decision)
Please make sure that you are available for the above dates prior to trialling.
Player Eligibility & Transfer Rules
If you are successful in being selected in one of our junior representative teams, you will need to have registered and played a minimum of 5 games in our 2020 Junior Competition or our 2020 Spring Competition.
Players who represented a previous club in the last NSW Touch junior representative season (Junior State Cup 2020) are eligible to trial, but will only be considered for selection in accordance with the NSW Touch Player Transfer Policy which allows only 5 players under the age of 18 per gender, per year (1 Jul-30 Jun) to transfer to a new club.
Fees
A $50 acceptance deposit is to be paid at, or prior to, each player’s first training session. Further costs will be outlined by team managers at each team’s first training session.
